Netflix's Stranger Things - a series review
If you aren't watching this show and you like the 80s, horror, or science fiction, then you are missing out. This is the story of a mother searching for her missing son, some kids are searching for their friend, and a brother looking for his sibling...but it is so much more. It's intriguing science fiction with chest-thumping suspense and horrific creatures. I'm not sure how a show can be one part Spielberg, another part Carpenter, and a whole lot of Stephen King, but this show does it...and it does it well. So prepare yourself to be whisked away to three decades ago! The music, the filming style, the props, and the acting will all transport you back to 1983. So, sit back and get ready to binge the weekend away.
