Early this year, we discovered that HYDRA HQ has a deep adoration of the Ghostbusters franchise and eventually accepted not being afraid of Feig's new reboot. Then, more rumors have swirled. Talks surfaced about another Ghostbusters film with Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt attached with a "mixed gender" team. Not forgetting that Dan Aykroyd kept hope alive for a 3rd film in the original franchise. It has all come to a head with this newest rumor that in no way is true. Sony is looking to team-up with Netflix! Stephen Amell was on last night's episode of WWE RAW, and he picked a fight. WWE Executive Vice President, Triple H, was forced to settle this matter the only way the WWE knows how...with steroids...wait, no not that. Not this time. Instead, they'll just used plain ol' violence and aggression. That's right folks! The Green Arrow will be in a tag-team match in two weeks during WWE Summerslam! I've had Ghostbusters on the brain since the first time I watched Egon, Ray, Winston, and Venkman. I was a child of the 80s, so obviously I loved my Saturday mornings with The Real Ghostbusters.
With all the casting rumors about the upcoming crossover character for the MCU and Sony, we've decided to break the news that we've made up our own casting decision.
Finally, Spider-Man is coming to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). In a blockbuster announcement, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have cut a deal. Basically, Spider-Man gets to be in Marvel/Disney team-up films, and Sony gets the creative control over Spidey's solo outings
In the latest internet rumors, we're hearing that Ryan Gosling is being considered for Doctor Stephen Strange. I'm here to tell you that is wrong.
Just mere moments after hearing that Edgar Wright will no longer helm the Ant-Man film for Marvel Studios, the editors here at HYDRA HQ started making up their own rumblings of a replacement. They did the obvious and looked at the casting of Paul Rudd and thought..."what director does Mr. Rudd tend to work for?" The answer was Judd Apatow. Now, Judd Apatow has never helmed a big budget blockbuster like this before, but that has yet to stop Marvel. They've had interesting directors before. For instance, fading action director Shane Black's career was resurrected after the polarizing Iron Man 3, and the TV directing duo the Russo Brothers were given the reigns to the sequel to their sequel. This out-of-the-box thinking is what makes us here at HYDRA HQ absolutely sure that Judd Apatow will be announced as the director without doing any sort of research or calling a studio or even looking on-line to see if Apatow is available to get this film out by the already established release date. Sure, one might think Marvel will be using writer Joe Cornish to take over directing duties, but we know the truth. Judd Apatow is rumored to be the top candidate in the directing pool for Marvel's Ant-Man in 2015. |
